How PNG export works
How PngExport blurs an image in your browser
Your browser reads the chosen image and draws it onto a local canvas. The blur editor creates a softened canvas copy, then applies it only inside the brush stroke, circle, or rectangle you select. The final canvas is encoded as a PNG for download.
The image-editing workflow does not send the selected image to a conversion server. The browser canvas is fitted to a maximum of 1100 × 720 pixels; larger source images are downscaled before you edit and export. Keep the original if you need full-resolution output.
