    PNG dimensions and transparency

    PNG is a raster image format that supports an alpha channel, so pixels can be fully or partially transparent. Resizing changes the pixel dimensions; the tool exports the result as PNG, a format commonly used for logos, UI graphics, icons, and overlays that need transparent areas.
