    How PngExport converts an image to PNG in your browser

    PngExport uses browser image decoding and the HTML canvas PNG encoder to create a .png download on your device. The source image is not sent to a conversion server.

    Your browser draws the decoded image onto a canvas at the same pixel dimensions. No background color is filled behind transparent pixels.

    Does converting JPG to PNG restore lost image quality?

    Will my PNG have a transparent background?
